List of Notaries Public/Lawyers

PLEASE NOTE: As of January 11, 2024, the Hague Convention on the Apostille has come into effect in Canada. Canadian Authorities have changed the procedures for authenticating Canadian certificates and documents to be used abroad.

In many cases, the double step (Global Affairs Canada or Provincial Service authentication and Consulate legalization) is no longer necessary; instead, the Apostille certificate issued by the relevant Canadian offices will suffice. Click here for more information.

As of January 1, 2025, this Consulate General has ended legalisation services of notarial deeds as well as of the vast majority of its legalization services (for further information, click here).

Notarial deeds to be enforced in Italy and other official Canadian documents, such as vital records, shall be apostilled.

The following list is provided by the Italian Consulate without prejudice and in alphabetical order.

It does not guarantee the competence of those listed, therefore the Consulate is not responsible for the quality of their work.

This Consulate General cannot be held responsible for any losses resulting from inaccuracies or omissions in the personal details provided by the professionals. In the event that the professional cannot be reached, their details shall be removed from this list without further notice.

Please note that this list will be updated approximately every quarter.

If you are a notary public/lawyer officially recognized by Ontario, Manitoba or North West Territories competent authorities and you wish to be included in this list, you may send an email to toronto.notarile@esteri.it.
