Great news! Very soon Italy will be even closer to Ontario (and Canada) thanks to ITA Airways!
Consul General Luca Zelioli met with the representatives of ITA AIRWAYS, Massimo Allegri, Vice president Americas, and Pierfrancesco Carino, Vice President International Sales, to discuss the launch of the new flights Toronto- Rome through a series of activities on the occasion of the inauguration on May 10th 2024!
See the infographic by ITA AIRWAYS for the weekly schedule. The increase of the direct air connections with Italy is one of the Consulate’s priorities, also in collaboration with ENIT Office in Toronto, aimed at expanding tourist flows between Canada and Italy.
Special attention to the Italian diaspora in this country (Ontario alone hosts almost 1 million Canadians of Italian Origin): 2024 has been in fact declared by Italy “Year of the Tourism of the Roots”.
The new air route by ITA Airways will further promote the growth of mutual investments, trade and cultural exchanges as well!
