Scintilla Tricolore

The Italian Airforce Aerobatic Team (“Frecce Tricolori”), which celebrated its 63rd birthday last March 1, will fly to Canada and the United States for the first time in more than 30 years since its last mission (Columbus ’92) on a multifaceted tour that includes a series of events and fly-overs, and in which the “Frecce Tricolori” will represent Italian excellence.

The tour will begin in Bagotville (Québec) to celebrate with Canada the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force. In Bagotville the Italian Airforce Aerobatic Team will perform on June 22 at the SAIB (Spectacle Aérien international de Bagotville). Admission to the Bagotville Airshow is free. More information is available at the following link: Bagotville international air show | SAIB (saibagotville.com).

On June 25, the “Frecce Tricolori” will be visible at around 12.00 pm from Parliament Hill in Ottawa and will fly over Montreal in the afternoon.

Afterwards, the Italian Airforce Aerobatic Team will perform at the Quinte International Airshow 2024, to be held in Trenton (Ontario), on June 29 and 30. The remaining tickets to attend the event and watch the spectacular performance may be purchased at the official Airshow website: THE SHOW | Quinte Air Show.

The “Frecce Tricolori” will then fly over Vancouver on July 16, while on August 2, they will be visible in the sky over Toronto. Finally, during their Canadian Tour, the “Frecce Tricolori” will perform in Cold Lake on July 20 and 21 (Home – Cold Lake Air Show) and will also be visible in Niagara FallsEdmonton and Moose Jaw.

The North America Tour will be an opportunity organize a redeployment thousands of kilometers away from Italy and to share the values, technology, professionalism and teamwork skills of the Italian Air Force, through a journey in stages between Canada and the United States. The Tour will also be an opportunity to represent Italy in the world and foster Made in Italy overseas.
