IX Edition of the Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World

On November 12th, Consul General Luca Zelioli presented to local press and to the public the many activities planned in Ontario on the occasion of the IX Italian Cuisine Week in the World (November 16-22, 2024).

This year the theme is “Mediterranean Diet and the Recipes from our Roots: health and tradition“, underlining the healthy aspect of the Italian Cuisine as a key part of the Mediterranean diet. At the same time a very rich Cuisine based on regional traditions.

Partners of the Consulate for 2024 edition of the Week: George Brown College – School of culinary arts (which hosted the presentation event), the Italian Cultural Institute (co-organiser of the soirée), the Italian Trade Agency (Agenzia ICE), the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Ontario, the Italian Federation of Chefs in Canada, ENIT (National Tourist Agency), Don Alfonso Restaurant.
