Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo (13-19 novembre 2023)

Lo scorso 8 novembre, il Console Generale Zelioli ha presentato alla stampa locale e al pubblico le varie iniziative che verranno realizzate a Toronto in occasione dell’ottava Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo (13-19 novembre).
Il tema di quest’anno è “Dining with the Italian cuisine: well-being with taste”, per sottolineare che la Cucina Italiana presenta una componente di salute e sostenibilità, come la più ampia “Dieta Mediterranea” (dichiarata patrimonio dell’umanità dall’UNESCO).
Partner del Consolato nell’edizione 2023 della Settimana della Cucina Italiana: Eataly (che ha ospitato presso la Trattoria Milano l’evento di presentazione della Settimana), l’Agenzia ICE, l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Toronto, la Camera di Commercio Italiana in Ontario, la Federazione Italiana Cuochi in Canada, l’Accademia della Cucina Italiana.

November 15th, 2023- 12 noon Masterclass “Flavours of Tuscany: Buonissimo!” with a lineup of Consortia from Tuscany (including Finocchiona IGP, Prosciutto Toscano DOP, Pecorino Toscano DOP e Olio Extravergine di Oliva Toscano IGP) Through this masterclass, participants will have the opportunity to embark on a culinary journey to Tuscany. In this experience, they will savour the unique flavours of the region. The  Consortia will share their insights on the secrets behind these remarkable products and provide guidance on the best ways to utilize them.
