Due to technical problems beyond our control, the Consulate General of Italy in Toronto has not received the scheduled shipment of passports yet. Therefore starting tomorrow, June 24, 2025, passports will not be issued – unless in case of demonstrated emergency – on the same day of the appointment. Applicants will receive their passports (as soon as the shipment is delivered) according to one of the following options:
- Pick up in person at a later date;
- Pick up by a third party at a later date upon written authorization;
- By bringing an XpressPost envelope from Canada Post on the day of the appointment.
During this time, we will only accept payment by cash or money order issued by a bank or Canada Post Office.
