The York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) will benefit from a 350,000.00 Canadian dollars in funding from the Ontario Goverment in order to support the Italian language courses program.

Good news for the Italian Canadian Community (the largest one is living in the jurisdiction of the YCDSB), for the Consulate and for multicultural Ontario!

Consul General Zelioli extended his personal gratitude to Education Minister Stephen Lecce and, through him, to the Ontario Government for the important announcement today.

The Consul General was privileged to be with Minister Lecce, Minister Tibollo and Minister Parsa on the occasion of the official announcement in Vaughan, at the Maple Pioneer Italian Seniors Club.

Many thanks to the YCDSB President Frank Alexander and to Trustees Angela Saggese, Maria Iafrate, Michaela Barbieri for their work in offering various languages courses, including (especially) Italian!
