The Consulate General informs – Notice on the Beginning of Renovation Works

lavori_in_corso

With the opening of a first construction site, within the premises of the Consulate General of Italy in Toronto, indispensable initial consolidation and renovation works have begun.  Construction works affect the Headquarters of the Consulate General of Italy (136 Beverley Street), most of which date back to 1872 and are subject to historical restrictions.

Said works are expected to be completed by the end of next spring.

At this early stage, interventions will not result in changes to the usual entry procedures and checks by security personnel.

As the works proceed, however, temporary adjustments to entry procedures may be needed to ensure full safety of both the staff and visitors/applicants attending the Consulate.

Notice of such temporary measures, when they become essential, will be given via the Consulate’s website and official social channels.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
