Should said staff member return to work prior to June 30, 2021, this contract will<br \/>end prematurely with 30 days notice. In the event the absent staff member continues the l eave after<br \/>June 30, 2021, the employment contract may be renewed for another 6 months and prematurely<br \/>terminating with 30 days notice upon return of said staff member.<br \/>Probationary period: 90 days<br \/>Term: The position i s subject to the Terms and Conditions of Employment for l ocal staff i n Canada.<br \/>Starting salary: CAD 3,412.50 (monthly gross).<br \/>Location: Toronto, Canada<br \/>Closing date for applications: N ovember 5 , 2020 @ 5 pm.<br \/>The role will be to support ITC i n enhancing the activity of promoting and assisting Italian companies<br \/>within the Canadian marketplace through various activities aimed at promoting authentic Made i n Italy<br \/>products i n Canada.<br \/>The successful candidate will be i nitially assigned to support a specific sector under the supervision of<br \/>an experienced Trade Analyst, even though sectors could be changed and reassigned at any time.<br \/>Duties &#038; Responsibilities<br \/>As part of the temporary contract, the activities and responsibilities for the position, under the<br \/>direction of ITC, shall be the following:<br \/>\u25cf Assist with all activities related to the promotion of the sector assigned, i ncluding:<br \/>\u25cb general office and administrative work i nvolved i n the organization of promotional activities and<br \/>events;<br \/>\u25cb market analysis and data search;<br \/>\u25cb preparation of documents and contracts;<br \/>\u25cb communication with third parties and involved agencies;<br \/>\u25cb follow the update of the website content;<br \/>\u25cf Assist w ith market research, preparation of projects and systematic monitoring reports;<br \/>\u25cf Organization of business trips for delegates of Italian companies to Canada, as well as of<br \/>Canadian businesses to Italy;<br \/>\u25cf Assist with other activities and projects related to the promotion of Made i n Italy;<br \/>\u25cf Travel within Canada and abroad, i f required.<br \/>Essential Qualifications<br \/>Education:<br \/>\u25cf Bachelor\u2019s Degree (preferably i n a related field);<br \/>\u25cf Proficient i n MS office, (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet, Email<br \/>Language:<br \/>\u25cf Proficiency i n English (written and oral).
