University of Bologna launches the 16th Edition of its flagship business program, MIEX Master in International Management

Recognized as the first established academic institution in the world, the University of Bologna continues in its tradition in offering first-rate educational programs such as the MIEX Master in International Management, now entering its 16th edition.

MIEX Master in International Management, a full-time program in English aimed to train future global managers to lead companies, from SMEs to MNCs, into successful processes of internationalization. MIEX is designed and developed in collaboration with leading universities and business schools with international campus in France, Italy, Brazil, China, Mexico, Russia and Sweden.

MIEX aims to provide students the opportunity to develop the needed professional and strategic skills in the business world through in-class and on the field learning activities that include theoretical management training; international management techniques, consulting and research methodology; corporate internships and in-company project work.

MIEX is aimed at young and brilliant graduates from around the world interested in living a dynamic educational experience with international mobility, and who are ready to face the challenges and opportunities a global competitive environment can offer. MIEX’s unique program allows students to define the specificity and duration of their learning experience based on their motivations, goals and personal aspirations.

MIEX offers students two tracks to choose from: Fast Track option that lasts for 1 year (60 ECTS) and a Master of Science option that lasts 2 years (120 ECTS). The first semester takes place at the ICN Business School in Nancy, France followed by a second semester in Italy at the University of Bologna at the Forli and Bologna campuses (46 ECTS). Afterwards, students carry out a three month practical work activity (12 ECTS) and complete a final exam (2 ECTS).

The 2nd year of MIEX offers the following Market Area specialization paths (60 ECTS): BRAZIL – UFRGS in Porto Alegre; CHINA – ECUST in Shanghai; MEXICO – LASALLE in Mexico City; RUSSIA – MGIMO in Moscow or SWEDEN – UPPSALA UNIVERSITY in Uppsala (academic specialization)

Deadline to apply for NON EU citizens is June 1st, 2017
Deadline for both EU and NON EU citizens is July 14th, 2017.
Scholarship waivers covering partial tuition fees will be awarded to candidates based on merit.
